Dear Parents, This week in Kindergarten we studied the first Thanksgiving, and had lots of fun Thanksgiving activities. We hope your family has a happy and safe Thanksgiving Break! . SAVE The Dates! • Group A’s Party will be held on December 19th , from 1:30p.m. -2:30 p.m. • Group B’s Party will be held on December 21st , from 1:30 p.m.- 2:30 p.m Each year Kindergarten has a book exchange. Each child is to bring in a new book that is wrapped. Please do not let the value of the book go over $5. We will play a musical chair’s game with the books, and every child will leave with a new book to take home over the holiday. It is important to make sure the book is wrapped and has your child’s first and last name on the wrapping paper under the “From”. Please leave the “To” blank. Each Kindergarten Teacher will be sending home a book order for you to order books online. We cannot take cash/check orders, all orders need to be done on-line. All book orders must be made no later than December 7th, to ensure we get them delivered in time for our Christmas party. If you do not wish to order books from Scholastic, the Dollar Tree has wonderful kids’ books for only $1. We need all wrapped books with “From” marked with your child’s first/last name, no later than Tuesday, December 18th. Dates to Remember: Thursday, November 22nd: NO School. Happy Thanksgiving!! Wednesday, November 28th: Parent-Teacher Conferences for Group B Families (10 minutes each) Friday, November 30th: Group A (Monday-Wednesday Children) will attend. Friday, December 7th: Group A (Monday-Wednesday Children) will attend. Friday, December 14th: Group A (Monday-Wednesday Children) will attend.
